Well it seems my trust in Avast is dropping day to day with each update of the program, and this latest update might be the final cut for me.
Current Issues:
- NNTP Connections is at 20 again, no .ini file to fix.
- WDTV Live cannot connect to machine, was able to fix then only half of files in folder were visible.
- Has slowed my system down.
- PS3 Media Server takes forever to read over the network from the machine.
These all started with the update. I have not updated anything else. I’m losing my trust in Antivirus companies and their bloated and unusable software. Everything was fine before they decided to fix something that was not broke. If anyone is having some of these issues I know a lot of people don’t run PS3/WDTV Live and have an answer for why 6.0.1203 is preventing me to use my machine the way I want. I do not want to search for new antivirus, but if this is the way they are going with the program I will be forced to seek out other programs, maybe even finally make the switch to linux.
