problems with 8.0.1489

anyone having problems with the new update? after i had updated my computer to 8.0.1489 my computer crashes when i play games or watch movies. last week the computer crashed 6 times in about 2 hours time.

when i watch a movie it would crash but not as often as my games. i had clean my computer, checked to see if my memory was working as well as my video card. so far everything is working fine but my computer still crashes.

Is your system 32bit O/S or are you running two (2) virus scanners at the same time? This can lock your system if the O/S is 32 bit.

I’ve had both IE10 on one machine and IE9 on another machine lock up on me. Going back to the earlier version fixed it.
