Problems with "Electronic Mail"

Hello,

It’s the first time for to join this forum thus I do not know if topics related to mine exist.
I have a “trouble” with the Electronic Mail section of AVAST. Anytime, I connect to internet, an icone apprears at the right corner indicating that Avast is checking outgoing mails. The problem is that I don not send any message. In addition, the mail adresses are totally unknown for me. I suppose that I got a spyware or something like that but after having tried a-quared, SUPERantispyware, ADware etc., the problem is remaining.
Even afetr Hjack, I did not find anything.
If anybody can help me, it would be very kind.

In your firewall can you see any activity on ports 25 or 110? What is program is using it?

Also, you can left click the “a” icon and click on the intrnet mail provider and see what it is scanning.

There is always a search button… 8)

If you still detecting any strange behavior or even you’re sure you’re not clean, maybe it will be good to test your machine with anti-rootkit applications. I suggest AVG or Panda.

Also, if you still detecting strange behaviors or you want to be sure you’re clean, maybe making a HijackThis log to post here and, specially, scan and submit to on-line analysis the RunScanner log would help to identify the problem and the solution.
