Problems with new folders in SafeZone

I’m seeing a number of odd things with new folders from within avast! SafeZone.

Here are 3 examples:

#1
Open Notepad.
Open File->Save As dialog by selecting SaveAs from the File menu.
Click to create a new folder.
Try to save the new file in the new folder.
This gives the error message “The system cannot find the path specified.”.
Minimize SafeZone and try to find the new folder in Windows Explorer. It does NOT show.

In the Safe Zone browser:
Click the menu button.

Click to create new folder.
NO newly-created folder is visible.
Note where you are in the folder tree, and navigate to another folder.
Navigate back to where you were in the folder tree.
NOW, your newly-created folder IS visible.
Try to save the page in newly-created folder.
You’re able to save it there.
Minimize SafeZone and try to find the new folder in Windows Explorer. It does NOT show.

I’m running Windows 7 Home Premium, but our son saw similar things running Windows XP Professional.
(We’re both using avast! Internet Security.)

Rljohnson update AIS to latest version (9.0.2007) and see if you still have problems with SafeZone.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I updated to 9.0.2007 several days ago, and just noticed the problem since then.
(I’m fairly new to avast!, though, so the problem MAY have been there in 9.0.2006, too. I don’t know.)

So the problem still exists.

FYI:

I had originally seen this sort of problem when exporting data from my bank’s online banking.
I couldn’t see my exported (into a newly-created folder) outside of SafeBox.

Somewhere that I could really see this as being a problem is if somehow paid for and downloaded eBooks (or computer software) from within SafeBox.
