Problems with updates :S

Here is something strange:
In my avast! Antivirus puts that the database is the day Oct. 18 (They have already spent two days, I find it too long without updating the database …), while the Web makes it the latest update of the database was the Oct. 16!

What happens?

Sometimes they don’t update the webpage (usually over the weekend) even though they actually release the VPS update.
Last VPS is indeed from 18th October 2008.
