Problems with watching videos online

Hi,
I am using Win8.1.
After downloading Avast I had problems with watching videos online. After 10-40 seconds the video screen froze and/or turned green (with Chrome, Firefox and IE). After trying different solutions Disabling Avast was the one that worked.

However, I do not want to disable Avast every time I watch sth online. Is there something I can change in the settings to make it work?

any other security programs installed? have you removed your previous used AV or factory installed AV according to vendors instuctions and using vendors removal tool ?
