Hi Guy’s, Just wondering, is there a way to mark your query “solved” or do they just stay on forever?
Also it’s not important, but how does one edit one’s profile, inputting gender, pix etc or do you have to be reclassified from a newbie, heh,heh.

Just log-out and log-in again^^that should work^^
You can only edit certain parts of your profile after you have 20 posts. This was introduced because of spammers. (Not many spammers last 20 posts.)
But at least you’ve made your gender fairly clear. (Unless Wayne is a girls’ name in this millennium.)
You can edit the first post in the topic, click the Modify button in that post and you can edit the Subject placing [Solved] at the start or end of the subject and save it, that should then change it, there is no status button or anything like that.
A topic solved or otherwise remains in the archives as the information can be found by other searching for information on the same problem.
