The profile section won’t give me options to change things, even though it’s my profile. The clock is wrong. I can’t change anything. All it keeps giving me is main profile page, and when I enter password and say I want to change things, it just gives me same useless page.

This was introduced some time ago, out of necessity, to cut down spam…prevent spammers flooding users inboxes etc.
(Spammers don’t seem to make it to 20 posts. ;))
FWIW, know that at least your email address is hidden, visible to you, but not to me nor anyone else.
