Whom can I contact regarding a problem I am having correcting my Profile?
I have searched for a contact, administrator, you name it, and I can’t find anything. Any help is appreciated.
the devs administrate and moderate the forum here, so you can pm one of them, you’ll find their names on the main forum page in front of each section.
Is the problem one you can post here as you are likely to get a quicker response as the Moderators, etc. are also avast developers and as you might well imagine are quite busy with avast5, etc.
I’ve been trying to remove my email address from my profile. For some reason, it’s not working. Here’s what I’ve done:
Profile>Account Related Settings, checked “Hide email address from public?”,
entered my current password, then clicked on “Change Profile”. It seems to go through, but returns to the same page, with “Hide email address from public” still checked - and my email address continues to be available on the forum. I must apparently be doing something wrong, but darned if I know what! >:(

It’s only visible to you, not anyone else. I’m looking at your profile right now and I’m seeing the word “hidden.”

It isn’t a problem only you and Moderators can see it no one else, see image.
Go to PROFILE then Modify Profile then Forum Profile Information then Signature: and put information about your system if you like just like my signature so that the helpers can offer pertinent advice.
