Upon downloading and installing Avast, I decided to look through the files for it in C:\ProgramData\Avast Software for fun. A couple minutes in, I found C:\ProgramData\Avast Software\Avast\gaming_mode. When I opened it, I found dnddetection.dat and dndrules.dat, and I am wondering about the reasoning behind this entire file. I would love if anyone knew the reason for having them automatically in the unedited files that are installed with Avast, I would love to know why.
Hi, that’s part of DND mode, see: https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/Antivirus-Do-Not-Disturb-FAQ
