I’ve never had an issue downloading program updates using the updater in the maintenance section. The update was almost complete when I noticed it kept repeating “HTTP error cannot connect” .
I may seen naive, but should I uninstall the old and just do a clean reinstall?
I am reading here of so many people facing glitches… and I don’t want to be one of them. Thanks in advance.
there should be logs which would help to identify us what exactly happened. There are “setup.log” and “update.log” in your C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software directory
