I have a program update error like

Are you connected to the internet? What about a manual update Right click avast spinning icon>Updating>iAVS update? Does the manual update work?
What firewall are you using?

I connected to the internet for updating, of course.
I was using manual update for “Program Update” and the error has occured all day long, 
but it run smoothly if I just click “iAVS update”.
On my computer, Comodo firewall is used and the update progress run correctly before.

Which program version are you using that you are trying to update?

Now the update progress works and ends normally without any error messages.
Maybe there were some fixes from avast! update server… ???

Do you happen to be using the current beta build ?
As that would use a different server from the normal program updates, in the past there have been a problem on the beta updates. But it could just as easily been a glitch, but for the regular version of avast, the program updates have over 100 download servers to use.
Yeah, that’s why I asked him which program version he was trying to update, no answer as yet.

Thanks for your help but I dont use any beta version.
It is build 4.8.1201 of home edition.
It works fine without any unexpected messages now,
