Program Update Problem: Free Avast with XP

I am trying to update my Free Avast program from v. 2014.9.0.2021
to whatever comes next.
Using Windows XP with a slow (dialup) connection.

This file, a big one, will not download:
ais_core-7e9-7e1.vpx.dld
It gets up to around 77% and then starts over. I have tried it many times with the same result.

Does anyone know where I can just download this one file, or wouldn’t that work?

Thanks! Would you know if this update requires SP3, which I don’t have? I switched to Avast because it didn’t require that.

Any other system requirements I should know about since I can’t find them on the Avast site?

It would be better to have Spk3, but yes, Avast 2015 runs with Spk2.

Ah, thank you SO much! Now I know where to look in future.

Side note to Avast: I hope you will keep providing updates that do not require SP3. Not all anti-virus programs have that option, and some of us really appreciate it.
