Hey guys, Ive never really had a problem before with avast and this as well seems like it isn’t but it bothered me nonetheless so here I am to ask you folks if you know whats my problem. Alright so its simple, I went from the 2015.10.2.2214(I believe it was this one) to the 2015.10.2.2215 update but when it asked me to restart I did and when I got to my desktop it gave the the main changes made in this version Changelog from the previous version which was the 2214 update and im wondering is that bad? or just an error in displaying the wrong update notes, it was the one that starts off with compatibility with windows 10 etc. Its working perfectly fine or so it seems but I really don’t wanna re install it if I knew it wasn’t a problem to begin with. Maybe a repair might fix that but I wouldn’t really know if the problem would continue until the next program update. So let me know and thank you!
That’s hasn’t occurred on me. When there is a major upgrade for Avast for example Avast 2014 to Avast 2015 I always do a clean install. When ever I do a minor update for example like the one you did i do it via Avast GUI and I have always seen the correct changelog? You can find Avast release history and notes from here https://www.avast.com/en-nz/release-history
So to be honest I don’t know if it’s a good or bad thing. Probably they just accidentally put the wrong change log? Someone who knows better than me should be able to give you the correct answer. I am just giving you my opinion. If you see that your Avast program is working fine, so there’s no need for you to worry about. Let’s just see if someone has a better answer.
2015 is the first version that supports Windows 10, so if you saw a message saying Windows 10 in supported the information about changes seems correct to me.
