Malwarebytes finds “PUM Disabled Security Center”, which it is unable to remove.
Avast full scan finds nothing. Can Malwarebytes be in error, or is this not recognized as a threat by Avast?
Have you turned off either the UAC or windows monitoring of Avast
it is not a actuall detection…
PUM = Possible Unwanted Modification…
eksample, malwarebytes detect that your firewall is turned off…
so it sort of ask you, did you do it? or was it malware that did it… malwarebytes does not know.
avast does not scan for PUM. but it can scan for PUP
PUP = not a virus / Possible Unwanted Program…again you need to know what the program is and what to do
PUP scan is default off… only default on in boot scan
I had the same similar issue when Malwarebytes pick up from a client computer when I was cleaning up, did you change anything to the “Change Action Center settings” such as Security Messages ???
Thank you all for the quick responses.

I feel he’s right, because neither Rkill or Avast detected it in safe mode, and I have Windows Firewall turned off as I use Comodo.
Thank all of you again for the replies.
Did you disable the Behavior Blocker in Comodo Firewall? ???
