PUP.Optional.BrowserDefender.B

Object was detected by quick MBAM scan at
C:\Users\Herman\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Local Storage\chrome-extension_eooncjejnppfjjklapaamhcdmjbilmde_0.localstorage
Mmm strange, I was also noticed by .A detection?
Scan was completed, I wanted to turn off MBAM and a notice popped up “still scanning”.

You have some adware in Chrome

Tanks EssexBoy for the reply.
How to proceed?

Initially I would suggest :

Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.

[]Right-mouse click JRT.exe and select “Run as Administrator” the tool will open and start scanning your system
[
]please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system’s specifications
[]On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
[
]post the contents of JRT.txt into your next message.

THEN

To check for remnants

Download OTL to your Desktop
