PUP.OPTIONAL.MySearchDial.A Help

My Malware bytes has detected PUP.OPTIONAL.MySearchDial.A and 27 other detections but my Avast has picked nothing up. Any help would be appreciated

They are PUP’s (potentially unwanted programmes) Avast does not scan for those by default

Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.

[]Right-mouse click JRT.exe and select “Run as Administrator” the tool will open and start scanning your system
[
]please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system’s specifications
[]On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
[
]post the contents of JRT.txt into your next message.

I have downloaded the program but when I run as administrator a message appears saying 7-zip:Internal error code 105

Could you reboot your computer and try again please

End of JRT log

How is it behaving now ?

it was behaving fine but I was worried when Malware bytes detected it and not Avast

PUP’s need to be enabled for Avast to detect that as it is a programme that some people voluntarily install

Thank you for your help. Does this mean I am safe?

Unless you wish me to check deeper, yes

Delete JRT from the desktop

Will you check deeper? If it isn’t to much trouble

No problem
