I purchased avast ultimate from newegg and they sent me a product key but I cant activate it with product key. I need an activation code. can someone help me?

Have you signed into your Avast account through the avast GUI? I purchased a 2 year subscription for Avast Ultimate from NewEgg and it didn’t show an activation code at my.avast.com until I did this. It syncs your installation of Avast with your Avast account. Please see attachment.
I was able to login into the gui and activate my product key when on the home wifi. the problem was it said “couldnt connect to internet” when my laptop was connected through my phones hotspot. so i think its just a minor bug that most people dont see because theyre not using phone hotspot.
