I have a trojan on my computer…
W32:Purityscan-c from Mediatickerinstaller.cab or something like that…

Avast does recognise it but doesn’t fix the problem!

Please help me!

i ran it, but i didnt find anything wrong

I ran it also nothing finds the Trojan…only Avast detects it but does not solve the problem!

Hi beware,

please read the link “Virusremoval” below in my sig, and then give us some more info, e.g.

  • exact path/location of the trojan
  • results of onlinescanners
  • did ad-aware, spybot & cwshredder help any (when updated, and then run in safeMode) ?
  • hijackthis-Log
