Hello there,

I just purchased AVAST standard suite, awaiting my official license i started installing already via Demo mode, but the following error occured.

When i launch client install, he copies all the files needed, but then gives me failed 0x0000005 (acces denied).

when you set the deploy task are you completing the correct account with sufficient admin rights for the install?

Yup, it is copying all files to the client, so i think rights are ok.

I just tested again, and the server install for example works fine, so only the client install seems to give this problem.

Does the F: disk exist on the client and is it a local disk ?

No, but it seems to me that he is trying to copy the log file into to the installation source, (back to the server, from where the install package is launched), and on that server, the F disk exists, and is a local disk.

Or am i wrong on that part ?

The “F:\Avast\clients\Setup\Setup.log” is a path on the client. So it seems to me that you specified path “F:\Avast\clients” as the destination folder for avast on the client when you created the installation package.

Ok, I was thinking, with the creation of the install package, when he asks for destination, that it was simplly the destination, of the installation package itself, which is not :slight_smile:

It’s really the location for the avast pro installation on the client, which means that i works now !

I tested it already, and everything OK…

Thx for your help, it seems wat support concerns I don’t have to regret my recomendation of Avast to my client :slight_smile:
