In China the first IM is QQ.

we use MSN/skype/ICQ, but all of them doesn’t conform to Chinese habit.we hear reports of its vulnerabilities,too. :-\

I just noticed that IM provider does not ‘load’ (check) the QQ automatically when upgrading from 4.7 (or 4.8 beta) to 4.8. I suggest new programs being monitored, unless there is a special reason to do so (like utorrent in P2P), were automatically added to the protected programs.

They’re added, but only unless you’ve played with the settings previously.
In that case, the updater considers the settings “dirty” and does not alter them in any way.
