Quarantine not updating with new files

Everytime I have a program that is blocked due to a false positive or even legit files that maybe infected, I can not see them displayed in the quarantine. The latest stored files are from 2018 and I keep getting notifications X file was put into quarantine, yet there is no way to check where that file is located or what Avast actually found.
I’ve tried reinstalling/repairing Avast and nothing allows the quarantine screen to update with recent files.

You say you can’t find them in quarantine, are you checking for them:
Do you enter the quarantine from the Avast User Interface/right click menu (see attached image)?
Or are you looking in the location via Windows Explorer ?

A screenshot of the alert would be helpful, if you can attach one to your reply.

I am looking at them within Avast.
I get a warning that looks something like this

Though checking the actual chest, there is nothing updated since 2019

(Sorry, don’t understand how to upload images directly)

Under the reply text window is the “Attachments and other options” click to expand and attach images.

Hi,

Can you try to manually add a file to the Quarantine as a test? You can always remove it. https://support.avast.com/article/Use-Antivirus-Quarantine/

@ R@vast
I was able to manually add a file and the file shows up

HI,

Can you provide a support file, please? https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/Submit-support-file

I created a support file, File ID CXFWZ. Would you want me to upload the zip it created as well?

I believe that would be automatically uploaded to Avast, they should be able to match the File ID that you have given. But you can wait for confirmation from r@vast, but since it is a weekend it might be a day or two before a reply to your question.
