Question about an error message

Has anyone else ever received a Windows error message upon booting up that reads:

“There is a file or folder on your computer called “C:\Program” which could cause certain applications to not function correctly. Renaming it to “C:\Program1” would solve this problem. Would you like to rename it now?”

I have never seen this before. I ran a full scan uwith Avast! and all is well. I submitted a ticket to the support center here, but haven’t heard back yet. I can see the file name “Program” when I access my C drive. When I bring up it’s properties, the description reads Avast! antivirus update. The only thing that is not functioning properly that I’ve noticed is my laptop’s keyboard backlight. Has anyone else seen this error message before and/or know how to fix it?

I don’t have a folder named C:\Program on my computer.
Screen shot please and more information about your OS and what other security related programs
are installed on your computer would also help.
