When 5.0 comes out, will I upgrade into the suite using my new 3 year Pro license? Or is there another paid version with no firewall that I upgrade into and I have to buy a new license.

You are allowed to upgrade to the avast! 5 Professional version for free.
If you would like to use the Suite you have to either buy new licenses or you should be able to upgrade in an in-expensive way… (don’t know how this exactly works…)

The antivirus, like said, would be upgradable to the antivirus version 5.
To get the suite you’ll pay a little difference (I’ve heard about 10 bucks more).
Thank you for the info, if there is an inexpensive upgrade path like you said, I will upgrade, but if not then pro is fine till it runs out.
There will still be an avast Pro stand alone version as far as I’m aware, so if your happy with your existing firewall then you don’t have to have the avast suite (AV, Firewall, Anti-Spam, etc.) version.
Hello! For users who use version 4.8, even after the emergence version 5, would continue to take signatures for viruses automatically, or with the version 5 version 4.8 will become unworkable? Thanks!

Seems like I heard that avast would come with a firewall… Can it be turned off? cause I would like to continue using my current firewall…
