Question about Avast and F-Secure Freedome VPN

I’m using F-Secure Freedome VPN with Avast Free and i noticed that Freedome VPN’s tracking protection block these url’s v7.stats.avast.com and v7event.stats.avast.com, so does avast still work properly if those are blocked?

I have notified F-Secure few times already about those url’s, but they are still being blocked.

  • Which Avast…? (Free/Pro/IS/Premier)
  • Which version…?
  • OS…? (32/64 Bit…? - which SP/Build…?)

Those avast url’s are usually blocked after avast updates virus definitions.

i hope that someone from avast team sees this thread and could contact f-secure.

As you run V18 I doubt the V7 links are important.
A clean reinstall of Avast might help to solve this…
