Question About Avast Download Page? Sandbox Options?

How come on the Avast Download Page:

There is no check-mark by the Sandbox in the Free version that says, “Run Risky Programs” virtually? Doesn’t Avast Free do that now? I have Avast Free, and have the sandbox. In both Avast 6 and 7. The lack of check-marks for the for the sandbox technology might imply to users that there is no sandbox in the free version. There is no differentiation between the two sandboxes on the download page.

Yeah, there is the Autosandbox in all versions, including Free…the table on the site doesn’t really mention it.

Probably because the table focused on what is missing in Free version vs. Pro/AIS.

If they listed all features, individually across all versions, the difference between Free and Paid versions would not look as impressive…therefore there would be less sales. :wink:
