My question regarding hardened mode set to agressive is that does it require a cloud/internet connection to really work? Because ive noticed when running programs that were blocked by hardened mode by other users (suck as capslockchanger) on my machine when offline the programs are bot blocked but allowed to rum as normal but yet a tool like autosandboxme2 is blocked regardless of internet connection.
Does anyone know the answer to my question?
I forgot to add that i dont have internet at the moment (im posting from smartphone) so i cant just turn net on computer and then test.
Yes, the hardened mode relies on cloud services.
If you disable Reputation services in antivirus settings, you’ll see a note that Hardened mode will not work. Unfortunately you don’t see anything if you just unplug the network cable (or simple aren’t online).
