I have XPsp2. Could someone please recommend a software program that I can use to make copies of CD’s that I have. Whenever I buy a new game such as Scrabble I would like to make a copy of it to share with my sister. I don’t know if there is any freeware available but I wouldn’t mind paying for one. Thanks
I would like to make a copy of it to share with my sisterNot exactly "legal". ::)
I shouldn’t really answer your question,as i know nothing about copying pc games.I use two products called AnyDvd and CloneDvd from Slysoft,to back up my dvds. This company is very professional,( probably not legal)Both programmes have lifetime updates. If a new dvd comes out that cannot be copied,an update follows shortly after. The same company also make a product called Game Jackal. I believe this program allows you to emulate the game on your pc,without inserting the cd.So you could,I suppose put the game on your pc,and give the original to your sister,or vice versa, depending who had GJ on their pc.I haven’t tried this product, but I have been a fan of Slysoft for a long time.My outlook is,if you buy a cd/dvd/game you should have the right to copy or back it up.The great thing about Slysoft is they do a 30 trial of all their products,so you have nothing to lose. This program only works with pc games.

My outlook is,if you buy a cd/dvd/game you should have the right to copy or back it up.That's legal. Giving the original or a copy to someone else isn't. It's called piracy. :-X Slysoft by the way puts out an unbeatable product. :)
Giving someone a copy is piracy, making a backup and then ’ lending ’ the original is being generous ;D
BlindWrite is a good one.

You can download a trial of it to test it out. After the trial it costs $29.99 USD to continue using it.
It’s excellent software to backup your games. It can make a copy of a game disc and put it on another disc for you, and it can also RIP the game disc’s image and save it to your Hard Drive.
CD copiers can be found here.
Thanks everyone. Decided to go with BlindWrite. Promise it will only be used by me personally - no more sharing.
no more sharing. That's entirely up to you.... :) :) We aren't the police or representatives of RIAA ;D ;D
