Question about "DeepScreen"

Hey there,

I was wondering how I make it so that deep screen asks me before it sandboxes a file. I remember the old avast let me set the auto-sandbox to “ask” before it sandboxed a file. How do I do that with the new version?

Thanks.

You can’t, it’s a fully transparent process now. It checks and re-runs the program by itself.

Ok, then is there a way to stop it from sandboxing after its started? like tell it to just stop testing it? or do I have to wait 15 seconds? if I do have to wait I’m just going to disable it.

You have to wait a bit for it to analyze the file.

The only thing you can do is deactivate this feature as I did. I’m waiting for improvements as well.

You can exclude known to be safe things from DeepScreen. As for other “improvements”, since users are generally absolutely horrible when it comes to making similar decisions, do not hold your breath. :stuck_out_tongue:

Well then I just have to forget about deepscreen.

Why? It was a lot more clumsy before. Now, all it does is add few seconds of delay and then the app starts as usual, without any intersactions (if clean). It’s much better than before. Plus, when found clean, it will be added to exclusions, so you won’t get the popup again for the same app.
