Question about forums - "Jump to"

The last few weeks I’ve noticed intermittent weird behavior when I’m reading postings within a topic. When I’m done, I hit the “Go” button to return to its forum. While the name of the forum is always shown correctly, once in a while the Go button is dead and doesn’t do anything. It’s normal in appearance (not grayed out or anything like that), but doesn’t do anything … there’s nothing in the status bar indicating it’s even trying to reload the parent page, so I have to use the current-location thing near the top to return.

Any idea what could be causing this, and what (if anything) I can do to fix it? For that matter, has anyone else experienced this?

Beats me, don’t use the go up button. I just use the Show new replies and Show unread posts. They’ve been working fine though.

Forgot one detail, if I click on it and it ain’t gonna work, I don’t get that little dotted rectangle indicating selected item which normally appears momentarily when it does work right. Thanks anyway … it’s a rare intermittent thing, and not a major concern since I can use the other link just fine.
