Thanks,
I can respond to the 2nd question.
Security Application :
Avast! 4.8 Home
Malwarebytes 1.40 Free (http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html?part=dl-10804572&subj=dl&tag=button)
Windows Defender (should be in Windows Automaticly)
2 Ways Firewall (Vista Firewall (Windows Vista Firewall), Outpost Free,PC Tools Free,Online Armor Free,Zone Alarm Free.)
Online Scanner (Its can be good some times to do this. U can put both in your favorite. That what i did do.):
Secunia (OSI) http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/online/ - Online Scanner Inspector that check for insecure program on your pc.
VirusTotal http://www.virustotal.com - A Online Virus Scanner for be sure if you click on a good file. (The scan can be more long if your file is really big. So i can recommand to scan only small file like i do some times.)
PS : For Anti Virus Online Scanner i never did that so i cant respond it maybe another user will can help you on this. Also im curious what is your OS and browser that your surf. Tell me the version of each also. I wanna see if you use and have a updated OS and browser. Be sure you got Windows Update of Microsoft and Windows Turned On. About all things is required you to do automatic update.
Thank you and bye,
Mr.Agent.
The online scanner is not one that scans your computer. It is one that can load one specific file into, if you are concerned about it. So, no, it is not necessary to disable your resident scanner. (And definitely not recommended.)
And what was the top 2 AV/anti-spyware Online Scanner is reliable?I am not sure what you mean here. Are you asking for our opinions as to what the best two antiviruses are?
Good antispyware to back up Avast home would be MBAM.
Good AV to back up Avast home would be demand scanners only; you can not have two AVs installed together. A good demand scanner is DrWeb’s Cureit, which you download when needed, as it can not be updated.
Currently, the best 2 online scanner is Kaspersky online scanner and Eset online scanner.
Only Avast!,Malwarebytes,Windows Defender and his 2 Ways Firewall can do a great job too.
Mr.Agent
Well there are others…
BitDefender
F-Secure
But Kaspersky is for detection-only, not cleaning
The same for TrendMicro.
Kaspersky
Trendmicro housecall
One more to add to the list. http://personalfirewall.comodo.com/scan/avscanner.html it only scans so no cleaning as yet.
Comodo AV never convinced me… low detection rates.
