Question about using Avast 4 Home license

Hi Avast employees,

I have question about the Avast Home License.

I’m using my laptop at home for personal use and developing some software to sell it for profit and show demo for my softwares to the customer, in this case can I use Avast Anti-virus home edition free license on my laptop.

No, is the short answer as you also use it for commercial purposes.

The avast Home version is for Home, non-commercial use completely and what you are doing would be considered commercial use. You can purchase the Pro version and legitimately claim it as a business expense I believe.
