What the heck are these - see attachment?
Privatefirewall, I assume, is loading these at every boot into IE temp directory. I have never seen anything like this.

Why would they want to load them in the temp folder ? They should be in the programme folder
Before I theorize too much, Can you enlighten me as to what those files are? I just want to be sure they are not redirects.
Yes, PF does have a folder located at c:\users\don\appdata\local and it’s always empty. It’s entirely possible I have a borked PF install or PF has a serious bug.
And I agree with you. If you set on the option to clear temp folders at IE shutdown, those files are wiped for the duration of your active PC session.
I wonder if they are the record of your connections, as each one in the temp files relates to the main firewall file
Developer e-mailed me that supposedly those files are to assist in loading of PF GUI processing at boot time. This explanation is plausible if not suspicious since PF’s icon does take a minute or so to appear on the lower taskbar. I am inclined to side with your assessment that the startup delay is a “smoke screen” to mask an upload of prior Internet activity i.e. referrrer activity?
Again another case of freeware is not really free …?
It looks that way especially as the size is so small
Thanks! Back to the WIN 7 firewall; probably forever.
