Question of choice...

Hi forum users,

Mind you it is a critical update, so you better be aware of that.
If for some reason or other you want to wait a bit with the automatic install of IE8, here are the download details for the toolkit to disable automatic delivery of IE8:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=21687628-5806-4ba6-9e4e-8e224ec6dd8c&displaylang=en
Why one would not update, is a riddle to me: http://tech.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=09/04/28/2322248&art_pos=1
The toolkit is meant for firms, that do not want to do automatic updates, but want to run new software on a trial computer to test it out for their environment. There it is a web admin’s decision,

IE8 working ok (when I need it) in Vista Business 32bits

On this machine which came preinstalled with XP SP3 and IE6, IE8 is a “high-priority update”
and not a critical one even if slashdot say so.

WGA Notification when it first was released some years ago were “critical” for your security.
Interesting priority by MS.

No thanks!

Thanks God, it’s a Question of choice…
