Correct.
You can add new ones and delete those, but the default skin remains.
There are some really nice skins available thanks to some great contributors. Check out the Avast web page.

You can uninstall them (except for the Silver Panel one).
Control Panel → Add/Remove Programs → avast antivirus → Change/Remove → Change.

Can’t the user uninstall it? I think so, he(she) just need to have one skin, not precisely the Silver Panel, could be any other one… For me it works :
Technical I don’t think it’s possible to uninstall the Silver Panel.
Anyway it’s that large a file, is it?
If I delete the file “silver panel.asws” I won’t have it anymore…
But if I update, the file is created again 
I’m not worried about the size, just trying to understand a user’s post 8)
