I’m new to the whole virus protection thing… :-\ and i was wondering— when I move the viruses to the Chest, what happens to them?? Am I safe taking no further action after i move them there, or do i need to do more stuff after that???
Once there they are locked away until such time as you delete them. They can do no harm from the chest. Welcome to our world 8)
You have done the right thing, ‘first do no harm’ don’t delete, send virus to the chest and investigate as required.
There is no rush to delete anything from the chest, they can’t do any harm there. Anything that you send to the chest you should leave there for a week or two. If after that time you have suffered no adverse effects from moving these to the chest, scan them again (inside the chest) and if they are still detected as viruses, delete them.
