Question...

What do you guys think about SpywareBlaster?

Not a bad program for an extra layer of protection and it uses no resources which is good.

i heard that spyware Blaster is very good anti spyware tools and easy to configure…i am use spy sweeper

It’s an immunization tool. Prevention. Don’t hurt, but it’s not a strong defense layer.

Windows Explorer is a file manager application that is included with releases of the Microsoft Windows operating system from Windows 95 onwards. It provides a graphical user interface for accessing the file systems. It is also the component of the operating system that presents many user interface items on the monitor such as the taskbar and desktop. Controlling the computer is possible without Windows Explorer running (for example, the File | Run command in Task Manager on NT-derived versions of Windows will function without it, as will commands typed in a command prompt window). It is sometimes referred to as the Windows Shell, explorer.exe, or simply “Explorer”.

i hear its good. but i’d say its the users opinion if it is or not

And Opera?

And Opera?

With the advent of IE8 most of the areas covered by Spywareblaster are built into IE8, so although there is no overhead it is becoming redundant

I recently dropped spywareblaster as my only reason for having it was IE and since IE8 as you say some of those areas are covered by IE8 now. So I was finding that although updates were applied, when I next checked a lot of them weren’t active in IE8, about 356 of them. No matter how many times I applied them, they just didn’t stick.

I see them with ZonedOut:

Also in IE go to Tools then Internet Options then Security then Sites

Spywareblaster basicaly good for using with browser IE since it helps blocks more malicious sites in it?
since i want to code websites for that browser too and plan to test on IE8, i dont mind having Spywareblaster.

I have used it as long as it’s been available.

You don’t see it doing anything but apparently it does.

Just remember to check every now and then to see if there are updates.
