Questions about Avast

Hello,
I’ve been interested in trying out avast! , as well as I used to have it on my old computer but transferred to ESET Smart Security (simpler personal firewall). Are there any suggestions of which avast! version would be best for personal firewall usage, as in avast! always prompting me to permanently/temporarily allow/deny connection(s) whenever they occur from all applications within my computer, along with a strong independent real-time antivirus?

Also, any suggestions on how to transfer my personal firewall rules from ESET to avast! ?

Not possible. Besides that, it is better to start from scratch so obsolete rules are gone.
