I have recently installed avast antivirus software and now I am unable to log into Quickbooks Pro 4.0. Can I uninstall Avast to solve this problem? Any other ideas?

Can you provide some more info.
What errors or warnings are you getting, full details or a screenshot.
I assume this is a web URL you are loging on to ?
If so, do you log on to an http page then get redirected toan https page ?
How are you logging on, through quickbooks (I don’t use it) or via your browser (which is) ?
What is your firewall?
Additionally:
Does it help is you stop avast! on-access protection temporarily?
What operating system do you use?
