hi can anyone help, i caught a virus from msn 7 and i used avast to get rid of it. I uninstalled avast and now no one can connect to my network and this is really starting to piss me right off!!!
i have redone the wizard loads of times, changed the pc name done all that shite and still my mac and the other pc’s in the house wont connect. it was all working fine b4 i installed avast!
please can anyone help me.

Some details would be useful. What operating system are you running? What was the virus? How did you get rid of the virus (move it to the chest, delete the file, etc.)? What were the names of the infected files?

What did you do… Delete the file or send to Chest?
Do you remember the name of the infected file (name and path) and the name of the virus?
Which operational system are you using? Is it updated? And which firewall?
Can you schedule a boot time scanning with avast?
