Hi everyone.
So like the title says my system is struggling with random BSODS mostly during web browsing, or watching a movie online.
Here is the memory dump and some minidumps: https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=D5257BD8C24BDE84!3969&authkey=!AMtnvXgd_5aGzXc
hey have you disable MSE from running at start up before you install avast?
have you tried a clean installation of avast?
Defender is disabled from the first day i installed Win8 and a clean install of avast was performed.
I’d like someone from the devs. to look into the dumps as i’m not new to this forum and know what are the steps to take when something’s going wrong.
email these dumps to kurtin@avast.com with the link to this topic…
@Sparxx: thanks for your dumps,
please update avast from 1481 to 1482, because two of your crashes were caused by bug in 1481. However, other BSODs are from hdd/ati graphics driver, please check your hw temperature, memory, etc, because it’s not normal.
Thanks for the quick answer, updating right now to the 1483 version, and yes…2 minidumps were by mistake archived, as i have a bunch of minidumps were the crash is caused by avast drivers(aswnet, aswFW and aswNdisFlt) but by mistake took the only two that were caused by other drivers.
