One question, is ransomware shield protection(with enhanced protection mode) effective even with file protection disabled?
I mean, do the ransomware shield and the fle shield interact with each other or are they independent?

Yes don’t switch off the File System Shield.
I don’t even bother with the Ransomware Shield. I’m a great believer of, if you don’t back it up you have got to be prepared to lose it. I make frequent backups to two external SSD drives.
