Had a strange one tonight, had a ransomware thing pop up in my browser with an hour countdown and couldn’t get rid of it so rebooted the computer and could use everything fine except Firefox (my usual browser) internet explorer worked fine
Anyway after trying to figure out how to change to cd boot in bios to run kaspersky rescue disk with no luck(seems impossible to change the boot menu on my asus g75vw?) I decided to boot the computer and it works fine and even Firefox is now working
I’m currently running the virus scanner but is there anything else you’d run? as I imagine it will be lurking around somewhere?
