I had to call an engineer out to all my home devices as they were all freezing after Microsoft start up. Diagnosed as a conflict between the most recent update of Rapport and Avast. Solution is to uninstall both software and reinstall. Costly exercise if you have to call an engineer.

The avast and rapport (Trusteer) software!!! I have an update on the situation. After uninstalling and then reinstalling rapport and avast the pc’s/laptops only worked for a short time. Eventually I have had to uninstall rapport completely. I have contacted them and they are aware of this conflict and working to resolve.
