Regarding the latest update to 4.8.1368. Changelog states now working with 95/98. Unless using those OS surely installing 1368 is unneccessary, or am I wrong?

There was a problem in 4.8.1367, relating to win9.x and that was the reason why the 4.8.1368 was quickly released.
Even so, if you aren’t using win9.x and have 4.8.1367, what is the harm having the latest build as avast will still detect you don’t have the latest build. Of course if you don’t have 4.8.1367 then it is essential that you update your current version as it closes a vulnerability.
Many thanks David. Have it (1368) sitting on my desktop. Will update 1367 to 1368 now. Figured that might be the case but posted to confirm first. Looking forward to v5 when it is released.
Cheers,
G.
You’re welcome.
Most people wouldn’t even notice there was a 4.8.1367 as it wasn’t long before 4.8.1368 replaced it and no entry for 4.8.1367 in the Home/Pro change log.
I have Calendar of Updates as my home page and always download the full versions before getting the update through the internal updater.
Cheers
