I have a lifetime subscription. Avast keeps saying that I have just 5 days left.

Sorry Fred, but I doubt that. Avast does not give life time subscriptions. What you got is a pirated or cracked Avast, and it is illegal.

There is no lifetime subscription - exactly what avast version do you have ?

The free version, whilst free still requires that you renew your subscription.
