Re-Post Free Space Wipe: Plus New Information

Yikes! You guys are scaring me. Now I don’t if the community’s silence means that the problem is too big to fix or no one actually knows how, and I’m screwed.

Original Post:
I ran 1 pass wipe of the free space (89% of 950GB) and after it was completed it showed that I had only 169MB left or 0%.

What?? I found what appear to be fixes on youtube. But…I’d rather have them from a trusted source.

Many thanks!

Where you still b.t.w. haven’t answered the question.

Eddy,

I’m not trying to be difficult. I’m dense.

I assume that (b.t.w.) means by the way. “What is taking up the diskspace ?” Your last question of me.

If the information that I provided as to the storage allocation of my computer folders and files (what I can see) in the second post isn’t the answer your looking for then I’ll need help to understand what your definition is and more importantly, how to find the answer for you. I’m not lazy, I’m ignorant.

What does yours show ???

Hi Bob,-I’ve attached a screen shot of the properties. For whatever reason I can’t just insert the image as you have.

I’m not being a wise guy, but it seems to me that the pie chart properties tab is just a macro, visual version of the detail that
I provide in my previous post where I specifically reported what the W10 storage properties line item allocation shows.
Instead of having to read the previous post I provided the below recap:

Saturday Nov. 12, I ran clean free space with the Avast tool. I started with 930GB with 89%Free (827GB) and I ended up after the wipe with only 3% free space.

Below is the current status and allocation of my computer’s storage space.

Thank you for your assistance.
