Hello, is there a way to make Avast monitor a specific location and automatically scan new files?
I’d like to have my downloads folder scanned for viruses each time i download a new file…
I’m using OSX 10.8.4

It does that for ANY file anywhere out of the box, including your Downloads folder (fileshield), in fact it goes a step further and also scans the data as it flows in (webshield), what you can do is the opposite, exclude folders from being scanned, by default, all are included.
