my real time shields on Internet Security product will not turn on. System is not fully protected and the “Fix” button does work

Repair avast!:

  1. Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → avast!
  2. Click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.
