Ok, I have a huge problem, and i really don’t know how to solve it… Since my comp. was infected with some peace of …, something like autorunn virus, i wanted to start boot-time scan… And i don’t really know how long it lasted, i think about hour and a half, or two… After it’s done, this is happened - i don’t have any game saves, firefox bookmarks, and computer is extremely slower than it whas…
Biggest problem is that huge number of small programs isn’t working anymore, and there is a hell of a lot data missing - guy who is using that computer also told me that a lot of java games for mobile phone is missing, and also some packet tracer projects…
I’m not the only user on that machine, and if there isn’t a way to recover those files, i would probably fail mu exam… Not to mention time and nerves lost to install windows and find all of few months data which is lost…
I admit, i’m on this forum to find solution, and i newer thought that i would become angry avast user…
I tried to do move files back from virus chest, to do system restore, but failed to recover a huge number of things… I am using windows 7 professional x64 and avast 7
If someone had similar problem, or someone knows how to help me, i will be… well happy is stupid word…
Nope… I have seen that i’m logged on on a temporary profile… Is it possible that scan isn’t completed for the first time? I don’t really know what to do, but to look on a monitor as a noob and watch entire process… Don’t really know is it smart to start another scan, while i don’t know anything about the files…
I can access avast, but like everything else, program setup is different - silent mode is disabled, not enabled like is ordered to be
Few files, mostly some keygens from from programs, and one picture, nothing else… There isn’t anything else, i also thought that there will be lot of files, but nothing really, 9 files…
No, but as i sad already, entire computer is extremely slower than it was. Thing that bugs me is that after every restart, i have “welcome” screen with “preparing your desktop” and a message about a temporary profile… At this time i’m really thinking to start another boot-time scan, only to see what is going to happen from start till the end…
yes, i know that, but why is that message appeared first time ever on my pc after boot scanning with avast… I’m reading some forums about temporary profiles, and everyone saying that this message appears when comp is unable to access original profile… If that is the case… f**k
at this time i’m truing to log in to one and only - my account on a computer, with no success…
